Man & woman standing, she has a hand on man's shoulder & a hat in other, smooth hair, center part, confined low in back, wearing a polka dot O shaped bodice, drop sleeves, full sleeves, especially at cuff, several gored skirt over hoops, skirt fabric may be patterned, looking at camera, young man in Civil War uniform - official or makeshift?, short full hair, clean shaven, jacket, waist length, long sleeves, over tunic (?) high collar, center front buttons, 4th & 8th buttons not fastened, strap across chest and arms at sides.
